Fire Station Zwolle
The overhead doors in this fire station had to correspond with the look of the building. This is a special door that complies with the client and the architect’s requests. The overhead doors consist, amongst others, of 2 large glass panes of 4 metres wide and 2.2 metres high. Besides the design challenge to fit the large glass panes in the door, the opening speed of the doors has also been taken into account for when the firemen turn out.
