The designer doors can be constructed from various materials, such as concrete, wood or glass, making the doors identical to the building in terms of appearance. These are only a few examples of materials that can be used; other material choices are obviously open to discussion. In addition, there are options in terms of modifying the shape of the door.

In consultation with the architect or the building team, the consultants of Protec Industrial Doors translate your aesthetic wishes into door properties. Together with the engineers they determine all the options to realise your ideas. Through full collaboration with the architect or building team, several aesthetic doors have already been developed based on the design of the architect/client, for example:

• Angled corner at the bottom to follow the facade lines;
• Ecological plant cover;
• Full glazing;
• Identical to the facade;
• Modified with various kinds of materials.

Testing & certification

There are various options to provide your aesthetically modified door with additional properties, for example burglar resistance, bullet resistance and acoustic insulation.
